As a native of mainland China, Dr. Yanchun Xu graduated from Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China, studying Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (a 5-year full-time program).
She received her Master of Medicine degree from Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, one of the top TCM universities in China, followed by working as an Assistant Professor at the university for three years.
Dr. Xu also holds an M.S. degree of Counseling from South Dakota State University.
Dr. Xu is a Diplomate of Acupuncture (Dipl. Ac.) certified by National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She is also a member of American Association of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (AAAOM).
Dr. Xu is a current Licensed Acupuncturist (L. Ac.) in multiple states
Dr. Xu holds her credential of National Certified Counselor (NCC) issued by National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC).
During her over 20 years of TCM experience to be a Chinese Acupuncturist and Herbalist, Dr. Xu has also conducted multiple clinical investigations, published twelve peer-reviewed papers and edited/co-edited six books in the scope of Chinese Medicine.
