Dr. Yang earned his medical degree from Peking University in Beijing, China, which is equivalent to an M.D. in the United States. He has successfully passed all exams of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).

In addition to his medical training, Dr. Yang studied Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine at the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine for four years, earning a Master of Acupuncture degree. He holds a Diplomate of Acupuncture certification from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is a licensed acupuncturist in multiple states.

Passionate about Integrative Medicine, Dr. Yang believes in combining the best of both modern and traditional healing approaches for optimal well-being. Before joining Holistic Acupuncture, he worked at an Integrative Medicine practice in the Philadelphia area as a neurotherapist, specializing in brain optimization for mental health. His expertise includes utilizing Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Neurofeedback, and quantitative electroencephalography (QEEG).

Dr. Yang has authored and co-authored several case reports highlighting the benefits of acupuncture for various health conditions. He was the lead author of a case study on a patient with urinary incontinence and gait imbalance who experienced significant improvement following acupuncture treatment. These cases were presented at the 2024 Annual Conference of the World Federation of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Societies (WFAS).

Outside of his professional work, Dr. Yang enjoys traveling, exploring nature and diverse cuisines, watching movies, and reading about automobiles. He also remains actively involved in volunteer work.
